Natasha Durkins is the founder of Fiercely Joyful, a woman and minority-owned business. Through coaching, speaking services, and workshops, the business centers around a mission to inspire and empower others to live authentically and cultivate a joyous, fulfilling life.

Fiercely Joyful’s speaking services include keynote, panel, and moderation for all varieties of businesses and organizations. Topics may center around authentic and inclusive leadership, communication, and performance. Moreover, they offer individual or group coaching for personal and professional development. “Our coaching sessions are tailored to help clients assess their current state, identify goals, formulate plans, and find the motivation to overcome obstacles,” Durkins explained. Fiercely Joyful provides opportunities for growth, learning, and connection through their workshops to enhance team engagement, promote productivity, and strengthen relationships.

Durkins prides herself on leading an intentional life, both at home and in the workplace. Over the course of growing her business, she has seized opportunities and has taken advantage of resources whenever possible. Through being organized, staying driven, and leveraging her strengths, Durkins is staying ahead of the game and propelling her startup business forward towards a successful future. Durkins’ advice for anyone considering starting their own business was this: “Find a support system. Find a mentor. And take advantage of networking opportunities.” Networking has played a crucial role in helping Durkins fulfill her ambitions, and her friend and fellow business owner, Ronnette Meyers, recommended that Durkins join the Chamber.

Not only is Durkins a self-starter, but she’s also an author of the book, Fiercely Joyful: 11 Keys to Living Authentically & Creating a Life You Love, which was published in October 2023. The book is creative nonfiction with a compelling narrative that intertwines themes of identity, self-awareness, and the pursuit of authentic joy. It captures Durkins’ personal journey and those of dozens interviewed for the book while underscoring the importance of using one’s voice and navigating challenges with resilience. Durkins is passionate about taking the principles of her book and applying them directly to her coaching practices. Her ultimate goal is to assist others in living authentically and joyfully, reflected in the name of her business.

Durkins has big plans for the near year, launching virtual workshops in early 2024 and a podcast titled “Living Fiercely Joyful.” The podcast will help listeners implement concepts from Durkins’ book and apply them in discussion with her growing community. Fiercely Joyful, LLC hopes to support clients in unlocking their full potential and attaining the life they dream of.
