The DC Chamber of Commerce today announced its 2023 Chamber’s Choice Award recipients who will be honored during its annual 2023 Chamber’s Choice Awards & Gala, “Elevate Advocate Connect,” on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Washington Hilton Hotel. At this year’s Gala, the DC Chamber of Commerce will also celebrate 85 years of advocacy on behalf of the DC business community.

Techflairs, a DC-based, minority-owned and certified business, focuses on innovation, diversity, and strong client relationships. Founded by Shalini Devasahayam in 2018, Techflairs provides IT solutions and consulting services–serving for both commercial and government clients.

Angela Franco, President and CEO, DC Chamber of Commerce, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for ACCE, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, an Alexandria, Va.-based association of over 9,000 professionals who work for and with more than 1,600 chambers of commerce.

The Executive & Advocacy Specialist is an integral part of the DCCC team working to fulfill the organization’s responsibility for and commitment to successfully meeting strategic plans and objectives. This role supports the Senior Team in the planning, coordination, and execution of all functions of the Executive Office of the DC Chamber of Commerce. This position directly reports to the Chief of Staff but will also receive direction from the President and Director of Government Relations & Public Policy.
