During winter in DC you'll find government workers taking their lunch break to ice skate at the newly renovated National Gallery Rink. Located next to the National Gallery of Art, the Sculpture Garden offers views of art sculptures set in landscaped gardens. In the spring, the ice rink becomes a fountain.
