Government Relations & Public Policy

Welcome to the public policy and advocacy department in the DC Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Government Relations & Public Policy. We strive to engage the District's elected officials and business community on critical business and quality of life issues.

The Department of Government Relations & Public Policy is responsible for the Chamber's advocacy, public education, coalition building, information and outreach. Our goal is to support and promote the Chamber's mission, programs and events, and advocate public policy that improves the climate for doing business in the City. We do this by pursuing an aggressive policy agenda and by monitoring pertinent public policies at the District Government and the Federal levels.
